Perspective

I just thought I'd share this drawing I found on a friend's facebook. The man is asking, "God, where are you?" Such a good depiction of how we as humans tend to be: completely distressed about whatever is going on in life and doubting God's presence, when, in reality, God has the situation in complete control as He is holding us in the palm of His hand.

  1. Reminds me of texts like Phil. 2:12,13, "Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure." Sure feels like hard work and struggle and we're doing this on our own...but knowing all the while, it's God (the Holy Spirit)Who is at work in us...and for His good pleasure! Perspective is a good thing!!! Thanks for sharing!
